We all have a responsibility to nurture the happiness, success, and good health of our parents and families, so we can live meaningful lives together. I encourage you to extend your blessings to others in the New Year, so that their hopes and dreams may be realized.

Let us work hand in hand to make these hopes and prayers a reality. I truly hope that this year will be one in which all people can live together in friendship, love, and mutual respect.

Tibetan Community in Korea

Who are we?

The community aims to is to preserve Tibetan cultural identity through solidarity and mutual support among all Tibetan residing in the Korea. The committee facilitates cultural exchanges between Tibetan and Korean communities to enhance mutual understanding and promote friendly relation.

Additionally, the community endeavors to counter historical misrepresentations concerning Tibet.

Goal

The Tibetan Community in the Korea serves as a vibrant and dynamic platform dedicated to fostering unity, preserving heritage, and encouraging cross-cultural understanding within the Tibetan diaspora and the Korean society.

The Tibet Community in the Korea tries to provides a rich array of programs designed to support personal development, preserve cultural identity, and foster mutual understanding between Tibet and Korean cultures. Key offerings include: Workshops and Seminars to facilitate the exchange of ideas, promote knowledge-sharing, and raise awareness on a variety of topics. Educational program that are unique to Tibet like Tibetan language classes taught by native Tibetans and spiritual teachings such as the philosophy of Buddhism. Cultural Exchange to deepens mutual understanding of each other’s histories, traditions, and values, fostering enduring relationships between the two cultures.

Vision

Build a vibrant, interconnected community that celebrates Tibetan traditions, fosters cross-cultural understanding, and promotes responsible member of Korean society. By offering cultural, educational, and collaborative opportunities, the community aspires to bridge the gap between Tibetan and Korean cultures while inspiring unity, growth, and mutual respect.
